Nebraska Cornovirus Outbreak

As Douglas County’s confirmed cases rise, Omaha will not recieve any of the Nebraska Cares Act funds.
With citizens wondering were the extra $600 dollars for those on unemployment is and how to apply for aid while the Dhhs website isn’t submitting foodstamp applications.
Information on technical issues and being short staffed in the State offices is keeping those in need waiting for much needed aid.
The community is still being hit hard economically as jobs are posted but not hiring and our essential workers are becoming those most affected by the Covid-19.
The New York Times and Google have reported on the cases and county’s affected most.
